My update.

I have been trying the shakes from herbal life and I have been doing them for about 2 weeks now. I haven't been super strict with the program due to money being tight from the move to go buy up all the fruits and veggies and proteins from the store..I have been making it work but every one here has to eat too...LOL

Today I was measured again and I have lost 4 inches from my waist and 2 from each arms and 2 and a half from each of my thighs!

Thanks for all the tips too Sarah they make sense and are good to hear. Once they are out there you tend to think about it and things click for you. Congrats on the weight loss...

How is every one else doing???

Still a loser ... in a good way!

Last week I weighed in at 147! Sweet. That is about 27lbs now since I officially started this diet. It feels AMAZING. I feel like I am getting {myself} back again. When I am on the treadmill now I feel lighter and the jogging is getting easier. When I chase the kids, I can actually chase them for more than a minute. ;)

I've stopped nursing Calvin. (so sad my baby is a big boy - 15 months now)So with that, my boobs have shrunk from DD to C's. I think I lost 2lbs from each boob. LOL

Few things I have learned about myself about my bad eating habits and tips I have learned that have HELPED.

Drink water - only water. (crytal light, ok) But no more juice, milk (mabye non-fat once in awhile) no diet sodas, etc.

spread out your calories throughout the day. If your starving from skipping a meal, you will eat 2x as much compared to eating a regular meal.

Have the cookie... but just one. You tasted it, and it was good. Now move on.

I've noticed in social situations where food is bountiful is to keep busy. Get up and move around. visit with people, help clean, do something besides filling up the plate just because the food is "there"

Date night - no more dates out to dinner (not totally banned, but we are really cutting back) Now, we go on a hike, or do something active together.

No more "Mommy Garbage Disposal" - I have to (still working on it) not finish my kid's plates because I feel like I am wasting the food if I don't. I am serving them smaller portions and having them ask for seconds if they are still hungry.

Plate sizes - get rid of the HUGE dinner plates. You tend to fill up your plate when you sit for a meal. Go for the salad plate. It makes your realistic portion sizes look larger compared to being on a HUGE dinner plate.

These tips have helped me so far. I hope to keep loosing more weight. But I feel REALLY good right now. Still not to my "just got married" weight or even close to my college weight - but I am enjoying where I am at now.

Hope you ladies are staying motivated!! Just remember, you are worth the effort to feel fantastic and look HOT!
